CRC Reporting Deadlines 2015

As we approach the end of the first compliance year for Phase 2 of the CRC please see below the essential deadlines for 2015 as currently defined.
Phase 2 – Compliance Year 1
Annual Report Submission, CRC Allowance Order, Purchase and Surrender Deadlines
- Between 1st June – 31st July 2015:
Primary Contact, Secondary Contact or Account Representative to submit 2014/15 Annual Report in the on-line Registry. - Between 1st June – 31st July 2015:
Primary Contact, Secondary Contact or Account Representative to order allowances, Memorandum of Account (invoice) generated. - Between 1st September – 18th September 2015:
Allowance payment made with the Memorandum of Account. - By 30th October 2015:
Primary Contact, Secondary Contact or Account Representative to surrender allowances.
The fines associated with late Annual Report submissions and inaccuracy of Annual Report figures are currently set at:
- £5,000 for the late submission of the Annual Report plus £500 for each day the Annual Report remains un-submitted.
- £40 per tonne fines for inaccuracies of the Annual Report of greater than 5% plus name and shame public announcements of non-compliance.
